ABOUT ALLA

Alla Guelber.jpeg

Alla Guelber is a Calgary-based social innovator, facilitator and innovator. Frequently seeking ways to intersect disciplines, combine ideas and weave new possibilities, Alla’s passions span systems thinking, permaculture, ecopsychology, and transformative learning.

In 2009, she created the Meaningful Work Project (MWP) based on her struggles and insights into the non-linear journey of aligning her goals, passions and interests – especially for environmental and social change – with a career. While MWP is going through a refresh, Alla seeks to make new connections with Alberta’s changemaking community to inspire action moving forward.

Alla completed a Master of Arts in Environmental Education and Communication from Royal Roads University. She currently works as a public engagement consultant with the City of Calgary.

Alla is a Network Weaver because…

I am interested in weaving connections with practitioners from diverse disciplines and finding innovative ways to approach challenging situations. I am seeking inspiration, possibilities for collaboration, and opportunities for professional development.
